Dates for 2017 are set out below.


All meetings are free and are held at:
The National Metalforming Centre, 49 Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, B70 6PY
commencing at 1.30pm.
There is a free car park - entrance off Beeches Road.
(A complimentary buffet lunch will be served from 12.45pm.)

Before the main speaker there may be a short (10 minute maximum) Members' Corner presentation on an issues of general interest to members, e.g. a problem solved, an incident that had occured, a visit from an enforcing agency etc. If you wish to give such a presentation please contact the Secretary.

Each meeting attracts 1 CPD point for Registered Safety Practitioners.

BHSEA in Association with the HSE also arranges a number of Safety and Health Awareness Days (SHADS) These are free events arranged by the HSE and BHSEA under the Working Well Together (WWT) Campaign. 2017 BHSEA SHAD dates below

Monday 9 January
Annual General Meeting a keynote address by Paul Billinger, HSE Principal Inspector (not Jane Lassey, HSE Divisional Director Wales, Midlands and the South West as previously stated).
The address included an overview of HSE activities, health and safety performance and trends, and priorities and plans going forward. It will help everyone with an interest in health and safety to reflect on the needs, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
