BHSEA Mock Trial, September 2013
BHSEA hosted a mock trial in the Birmingham Magistrates Courts. Some 30 members watched the 'trial' take place. The event was organised by Chris Hopkins of Pincent Masons with actual barristers and soliciters (who are BHSEA members) playing the key legal roles.
The senario was a Crown Court case taken by the HSE and based on an accident to a foreman painter who had fallen off an incompletely erected scaffolding.
